What does Shiftgig do?

Shiftgig, is a company which helps millions of people with millions of shifts, all through its app. It is the easiest and smartest way for the hourly businesses and workforce for connecting. They are a mobile marketplace which completely vets and does background checking on workers, which they call Specialists, who can then pick shifts on its mobile application and work where, when and for whom they want. Their clients love this app because it can manage their temporary labor from its business app. The app is working currently with the biggest brands in the hospitality, food service, warehouse, retail and experimental marketing industries.

How much Shiftgig was funded?

The company raised $20M in Series C on January 17, 2017 from KDWC Ventures,  FJ Labs, GGV Capital and DRW Venture Capital

What is next for Shiftgig?

The company plans on adding a hundred more employees this years, mainly in marketing, sales, technology and operation roles. In December last year the company launched Shiftgig Upskilling, a free internal platform which offers videos for teaching shift workers new skills. It is working on more content tailored for skills different companies want their workers to have.
