17hats raised $4M in Series A funding on October 15^th, 2015 from Wavemaker Partners and with participation of other prominent private investors. Tamim Mourad, Talmade O’Neill and Harry Tsao have joinded the financing round.

What is next for 17hats?

17hats  plans to use the latest funding for expanding its development, education and marketing. Donovan Janus, founder and CEO of 17hats said that the solopreneurs are an undeserved huge community and so a software platform was built for them which addresses their pain points. He said that the response from the consumers have been overwhelming and the company is helping entrepreneurs follow their passions and the latest funding round will help the company do this on a much larger scale. Over the past year, the company has done many integrations which improve the user experience. Apart from integrations, the company has released a lof of new features since the launch which includes foreign currency support, embeddable lead capture forms, white labeled client pages, installment plans and recurring payments. The company is to release soon Lead Management, a tool which automates the intake of new customers. It includes a referral system which tracks the source of new leads and dedicated dashboards for projects and leads.
