Localytics helps companies like ESPN, eBay and the New York Times in creating customized app experiences which drives loyalty, higher engagement and lifetime value. Localytics is used in over 32,000 apps on more than 2.3 billion devices.

It has its headquarters in Boston, MA with offices in London, San Francisco.

Localytics raised $35 M in Series D funding on March 24th, 2015 from Foundation Capital, Sapphire Ventures and Polaris Partners.

What is next for Localytics?

Customer always want tools which allow them to act on their data, so Localytics has added things such as push notifications, in-app messaging, email marketing and integration with sales and business intelligence software.

The next step for Localytics is to introduce a new predictive marketing feature, which helps business to detect which users are likely to stop app usage, and deliver targeted messages  to convince users to stay. In the same way they can also detect which users will likely spend more and then provide them targeted deals.

The company started as a focus on app analytics but  customers also wanted tools which allow them to act on their data so it is now concentrating on analytic and marketing platform for web and mobile apps.
