Marketing With a Plan: Using Social Media Campaigns for Better Business

marketing

Network marketing efforts flourish when business owners use person-to-person selling and community building. One of the best way to do this that doesn’t involve knocking on doors is via social media. According to research, over 74 percent of adults use social media. Social media marketing is more than putting out a few tweets and hoping for a response, however.

Marketing that truly pulls in leads requires a strategy that takes into account your business’ voice, overall branding, and marketing goals.

Here are some network marketing success tips for social media campaigns.

Know Your Brand

Your brand has its own personality and goals just like you do. Even if you are your brand, your network marketing self should not be exactly the same as the person who woke up at 7am that morning. What is that brand and what do you want to be known for? If you want to be known as helpful, for example, make sure that your posts and comments exhibit this trait at all time. If you want to be known as informative, then work to provide relevant information across social media. Your presence on social media is like attendance to a networking event; plan accordingly. You wouldn’t show up to a networking event in your pajamas, so don’t do it on social media. Maintain your voice across every social media network and separate personal and professional accounts when possible.

Know Your Ideal Client

Your brand’s ideal client is not everyone with a wallet. You don’t want everyone to sign up for your business opportunity and here’s why: those who are the wrong fit will not only be unhappy with their decision, they stick with the business and they won’t speak positively of their experience. Your goal is to attract the right prospects that will stick around long-term and build your business to the next level as they build theirs. To attract these people, sit for a moment and think about who you’d ideally like to work with. Is it a man, woman, child? What is their income level and background? What do they like and what don’t they like? Once you can visualize this person, you can start to tailor your sales efforts around him or her. And that’s how you attract your ideal clients.

Pick Your Social Media Platform

Not every social media platform is created equal. Each social media platform has a different audience, post requirements, and number of users. Common social media platforms for businesses include LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest, YouTube, and Instagram you can use SMM panel. There are others which are gaining traction for businesses as well, so what you use depends on your brand and the type of content you publish. For MLM success, pick a market and stick to it. Also, create accounts just for your brand. That way, your marketing message doesn’t get diluted by conflicting personal messages.

Establish Your Posting Strategy

Once you’ve picked a social media platform, you’ll need to set up a posting strategy. The strategy should include three items: post type, frequency, and timing. Post types should be varied over time, including a mix of pictures, infographics, text, and video. Most businesses prioritize one content type and mix in others depending on the social media platform. The frequency should be regular enough that you can maintain a consistent posting. If you can only post once a week, then post once a week consistently and work to add more. Each platform has its own sweet spot when it comes to frequency. On some platforms (like Twitter), posting too often will cause you to lose more followers than posting too often.

On others (like YouTube), there seems to be no such high frequency penalty. The timing is also important. Not every one of your customers will be in your time zone or share your schedule. Time your posts to release at various points in the day (say, every three hours) and repeat so that everyone gets a chance to see your update. This works only on platforms that have streams, namely Facebook and Twitter.

Social media is the bread and butter of network marketing. Social media campaigns allow you to “attend the party” even when you’re not there by automation and consistent posting. As with any other business, if you’re not online then you simply don’t exist. Your presence on social media is vital to your business success. So establish your brand, determine your ideal customer, pick your platform, and plan your strategy to take your business to the next level of success and profits.
