MasterClass raised $15M in Series B on February 23, 2016 from Yan-David Erlich, Novel TMT Ventures, Downey Ventures, Bloomberg Beta, Advancit Capital, New Enterprise Associates and Javelin Venture Partners.

What is next for MasterClass?

The company plans to use the funding for expanding the roster of instructors, growing its team, accelerating class production in new subject and for further building upon its proprietary technology. As a part of the funding, Rick Yang will be joining the Board of Directors. The funding will fuel the company to capture and create more classes with new and innovative methods.
