It is the number one mobile and online booking platform and management software provider for doctors in Europe with over 1000 M patients each month. For patients this is a free online service through which they can find a close by health practitioner and book physician or dentist appointment 24 x 7 with just a few clicks. For doctors, this is a full range service for improving booking management, lowering no show and bringing new patients to their office. The company just tries to deliver the great healthcare experience which everybody deserves.

How much Doctolib was funded?

Doctolib raised $20 M in Series B funding from Bertrand Jelensperger, Nicolas Brusson, Kerala Ventures,  Accel and Pierre Kosciusko-Morizet,

Previous funding

  • €1M in Seed funding in January, 2014 from Antoine Freysz, Olivier Occelli, Bertrand Jelensperger and Private Investors,Kerala Ventures
  • €4M in Series A on November 25, 2014 from Bertrand Jelensperger, Kerala Ventures and Pierre Kosciusko-Morizet.

 

What is next for Doctolib?

Doctolib plans to use the new funding for expanding its business in other European countries. The company’s goal is to consolidate its leading position in France and its expansion to other countries in Europe. The company has 120 people working currently and it has plans to increase the count to 500 employees in less than 3 years.  Part of this team will work on marketing, product, growth and other usual start-up jobs.

The company was founded on October 1, 2013 by Curated Web and Doctors, Dental. It has its headquarters in Paris.  The company started 18 months ago, it now has 5,000 doctors using this platform everyday for managing the bookings. The company is adding 600 doctors monthly and it is only planning to double this number in the coming weeks.
