Postmates is an on demand delivery service which operates in 60 markets. It transforms the way local goods move around the city letting anyone deliver any product in under one hour. This demand deliver service the customers with the local couriers, who buy and deliver goods from any store or restaurant in a city. It allows the users to order anything from their local stores and get it delivered to their doorstep for a small delivery fee.

How Much Postmates Funded?

Postmates the on demand delivery service has received a $35 millions in Series C funding from the investor Spark Capital on February 20th 2015. According to sources, the latest deal, has valued Postmates between $150- $200 million.

  • Series A funding- $5 million from Scott Banister, Founders Fund, Crosslink Capital, Expansion Venture Capital on March 19th
  • Series B funding- $16 M on February 18th 2014 from investors Matrix Partners, Crosslink Capital, Spark Capital, Soft Tech VC.

Postmates has had more than a million deliveries in 60 markets across USA, and has recently launched an API.  Using this API, 3rd party sellers and app developers can offer the same day delivery. It has been expanding rapidly with a small amount of revenue per transaction.
