Zenly raises $22.5 million


What does Zenly do?

Zenly, is a French Startup. This is a locator app which enables users in sharing their locations with their friends and is a real time GP. This free app is available for Android and iOS users. It allows family and friends in following each other’s tracks and simplifying their busy lives. With this app user can view where the people they care for are present on a private map.  This app is the result of three years of experience in location tracking from an expert building team of engineers. It is a precise, real time, battery efficient, free app. This service is used for locating stolen or lost phone. For this users have to add a friend first, and find it the day it is missing. It is also a great family locator app, where users can see everyone on a private family map. It is so simple to stop sharing location when a users wants to and go incognito.

How much was Zenly funded?

The company raised $22.5M in Series B on September 26, 2016 from Jerry Murdock,  Idinvest Partners, Xavier Niel and Benchmark.

$11.2M in Series A on May 19, 2016 from Bastien Cadeac,  Maxime Prades, Olivier Thomas,  Damien Morin,  Solomon Hykes, Tony Jamous, Kima Ventures,  Romain Cottard, Xavier Niel and Idinvest Partners.

What is next for Zenly?

Zenly wants to make location sharing cool. The company currently has 35 employees currently, and has plans on opening an office in San Francisco over the coming weeks. It has plans of keeping most of its engineering team in France and operate its business with 2 offices.
