Sumo Logic has raised $80M in funding for its technology which analyzes machine data. The funding round will support a doubling of its staff and help it maintain pace with the customer demand for its data analytics service. It will fuel the growth across the business, sales operations, spanning engineering and global operations. The headcount which is increased by 250% year over year, is expected to double to approximately 400 employees within 2015 for supporting the ever increasing customer demand.
