How much Visionary VR was funded?

The company raised$6M in Series A on March 23, 2016 from End Cue, LLC, Greylock Partners, Vayner/RSE, The Venture Reality Fund, BDMI and  Draper Fisher Jurvetson (DFJ).

What is next for Visionary VR?

The round of funding was led by DFJ which will help the company in continuing to build accessible VR story creation software. The company joins DFJ’s portfolio of forward thinking companies which include Tesla, Box and Skype.  Given the company’s insights into how storytelling is going to be redefined by virtual reality in the future, the company will be aligned with the long history of investing in disruptive technologies of DFJ. The company’s product is so impressive that it left DFJ’s team in awe, who have seen hundreds of VR demos and created their own VR app. Bubba Muraka, DFJ partner will join the company’s board of directors. He previously led product development for Facebook for Android. Before that he spent 7 years in product and technical roles at Microsoft, where he was group product manager.
