Highfive , is a B2B technology company reimagining the way people communicate at work. It is a web and video conferencing startup which you will actually love. This startup provides simple, yet beautiful video for every conference room and employees in companies. It provides video and screen sharing for laptops, tablets and smart phone. It provides these services at a fraction of the cost of other providers. The company’s hardware is affordable enough to make video available everywhere.

Highfive, the new video tool makes companies more productive. It has been in the market for only 3 months now but it already has 500 companies as its customers which includes Warby Parker and Patagonia as the early customers.

How much Highfive was funded?

The startup has raised a $32 M in Series B funding on March12th 2015. The investors are General Catalyst Partners, Andreessen Horowitz and Lightspeed Venture Partners.

What is next for Highfive?

With the latest round of funding, Highfive plans to increase its workforce, to 100 employees by the end of the year. A lot of the funding will go into engineering. It will also be investing heavily in improving its sales and marketing team.

Highfive, was founded on February 10th, 2012 by Shan Sinha. It has its headquarters in Redwood City, CA.

It has been only 4 months since Highfive’s video conferencing units have been available, the company has already gained immense response. It is a video conferencing solution which includes an $800 piece of hardware which can be connected to any TV in a conference room and  capture video and audio through a 1080p video camera, hide fidelity mic array and a wireless chip.
