What does Music Messenger do?
Music Messenger, is an app which allows friends to share their playlists easily. This is an Isaraeli startup which enables easy transfer of songs among friends. Users can create playlists and share these lists with everybody who is in their list of contacts. This application is available to iOS and Android users. Music Messenger enables playing any song by any artists or from any album for free of cost. You can access hundreds of thousands of songs in different genres, for free and advertisement free. You can now send songs to those in your contact list simply and easily just as you send text messages of whatsapp messages. This app will not install the shared music on its servers, it allows the users to send songs which they previously downloaded on their smart phones or it allows them for music sharing from the existing library such as Soundcloud, Yahoo or YouTube.
How much Music Messenger was funded?
The Israeli startup raised $30M in Series B round on April 20th. The round was led by Roman Abramovich, who invested $15 M and other investors include different celebrities and musicians such as David Guetta, Tiesto, Nicki Minaj, Gee Roberson and will.i.am.
