What is next for Nanigans?

 

The latest round of funding wad led by a big Asian investor, Cheetah Mobile along with the participation of Avalon Ventures and Wellington Management Company. This funding will be used to improve its growth in Asia.

Nanigans already has its Asia- Pacific office in Singapore which is faring well. The founder and CEO, Ric Calvillo, said that though Facebook is blocked in China, Chinese businesses are advertising on Facebook to reach global audiences.

When the company had switched from default ad business plan to a software as a service model, 70% of the Nanigan’s customers have shifter to annual subscription and the company CEO expects that by the end of June it is going to be a 100%.

He said that the shift t SaaS model is used to determine whether customers are buying the technology really or just checking it out because it is a glorified agency. He said the transition has allowed the firm to do the round.
