WHAT DOES CREDO VENTURES DO?
Credo Ventures,The venture capital firm,has closed its second fund of around $34 million with sights set especially in the Central European Economic Area.
The motto of the company is to back early players in the round of investments thereby backing these companies and helping them grow.
The company’s first spate of investments was in around 16 companies, mostly the Central European area. While most of the investments made by Credo Ventures are in the form of LP’s. The firm also invests in collaboration with other venture capital firms.
How much did Credo Ventures Fund?
The firm sitting on a fund of around $34 million in this round it is aiming to fund new companies in 2015 and expects to make around 4- 5 investments.
It has a history of around 12 investments in 11 companies and 2 acquisitions and some exits as well.
The most recent being an investment of $1million on the 29th September 2014 in Comprimato, a firm providing compression solutions for Graphics Processing firms.
Previous Investments:
23rd April 2014 Credo invested $2.4 million in Series A in Cosadip, a software and IP platform firm.
The year 2014 saw Credo invest around $2.3 million in seed round in TV Beat, a TV audience SAAS platform.
The year 2013 saw Credo invest $800k in a cloud based analytics firm, Futurelytics, $200k in Comprimato and $1.6 million in seed round in API firm, Apiary.
Credo Ventures invested around $1.8 million in Brainient, an interactive content creation form in Series A finding and $3milllion in Series A in the firm Intellitix.

The prime focus of Credo Ventures is the Central European Market and it aims to fund new, promising and upcoming firms in Technology and B2B.the venture funding firm is looking to invest in particularly highly promising companies that have the potential and expertise to make it big.
