E-commerce enabler Zepo has lifted a hidden amount of funding, which is led by Anupam Mittal, who is CEO of People Group, One97 Mobility Fund. After this investment Anupam will unite with the board of the company. The company will make use of funds to forcefully concentrate on growth of its base in the current markets and discover new overseas marketplaces. Zepo had previously raised hidden amount from the One97 Mobility Fund.
Zepo lets companies to setup a lot of stores online. Zepo, which was founded by Nitin Purswani in 2011, is a Morpheus Gang company that has been growing gradually over the last years with over 1200 e-commerce stores that are running on Zepo currently.
Its journey from an e-commerce platform to an absolute online selling solution, Zepo provides everything from an integrated payment gateway to complete marketing support. It has its personal logistics solutions ZePOST as well.
The Mumbai based company struggles with Martjack, Buildabazaar, KartRocket including a number of others. KartRocket raised approximately $2 million in October from 500 Startups, Nirvana Venture Advisors and Japan-based Beenos.
This year, it has started two fresh new offices in Delhi as well as Bangalore. The company announced that it has plans to place itself as the foremost e-commerce platform sources in India, while introducing some brand new features and developments on Zepo.
