The Shangai based Brite Semiconductor has raised $8 million in Series C funding on March 3rd, 2015 by Gobi Partners and Norwest Venture Partners.

What is next for Brite Semiconductors

Brite Semiconductors provides custom chip design services for a huge range of chip marketers. The new funding is to be used to expand the company in U.S. market for mobile and consumer chips. The funding was not a surprise as China’s chip companies are on the rise and climbing up the chain of electronics market.
