Campus Job, connects students with part time jobs during school from campus representative roles to bartending jobs to freelancing jobs. Businesses can post a job for free of cost and students can browse through jobs listed and apply for free. It is the largest online marketplace for college students for finding internships and part-time jobs.

Campus job raised $7.8 M in Series A funding on April 30th, 2015 from the investors General Catalyst Partners, BoxGroup, Index Ventures, Slow Ventures, SV Angel and Lerer Hippeau Ventures.

With the latest funding, Campus Job’s total funding amounts to $9.1 M to date. As a part of the funding, Adam Valkin, General Catalyst’s MD is going to join Campus Job’s Board of Directors. The latest funding will be used to enhance Campus Job’s team, with special focus on sales and engineering.

Campus job was founded in September 2014 by JJ Fliegelman and Liz Wessel. It has its headquarters in New York, NY. Camus Job was launched with the intention that all the students should be able to find the perfect internship or part time and now with Campus Job, they can.

First students have to sign up for Campus Job which is free and fill their virtual profile. Employers also create their profile and post the jobs with specifications being clear cut or vague as they want with the targeting students, so that only the students who qualify for their listing can view the job listing. When the job is approved, qualified students are notified and matching will start. Employers will get full contact info of the applicant and they can then contact the student directly to either interview them or hire them.
