The company plans to raiseextra capital and has raised a total of $14 M since founded. Mr.John Gerace was appointed as CEO and a member of the  Freedom Meditech’s  board of directors. He is to oversee all the operations of the company, build the management team and lead the fundraising efforts of the company for expansion of commercialization of the ClearPath DS-120, which is an FDA cleared non invasive tool used by diabetologists, eye care professionals and health care professionals for measuring autofluorescence in the eye. Many independent peer reviewed studies have suggested that the elevated autofluorescence might be an early indicator of presence of diabetes.
