It is a modern appliance company which is dedicated to bringing intelligence to the tools which are used everyday in the kitchen. The company’s first product, June Intelligent Oven, helps everyone in discovering the joy of cooking at home by enabling restaurant quality performance and precision cooking on the countertop. This oven has a brilliant design and unique features which puts an end to the guesswork and paves way to fast and better cooking.  The company has a team of software, hardware engineers and designers who are committed to transforming the kitchen experience.

The company raised $22.5M in Series A on March 25, 2016 from Promus Ventures, Lerer Hippeau Ventures, Vaizra Investments, Foundry Group, First Round and  Eclipse.

What is next for June?

The company has planned to start sending out its 1^st batch of products this spring but due to some upgrades and bump in manufacturing has delayed its shipping. So the new release date is now set closer to the holiday season. The company plans to use the new funding for continuing hiring and building its team and for working towards delivering the first batch on the new set timeframe. The company is also set to refund pre-orders for those who are upset with the delay. Meanwhile the company will continue beta testing the product and says it has about a hundred oven to send out into the wild for the testing.
