The company provides a managed solution which helps hospitals in reducing their kit processing time over 90% while simultaneously achieving better safety of the patient by lowering human error. The company uses tech for accurately determining the complete contents of crash code kits, pharmacy stocked kits and anesthesia kits in the hospital. This enables pharmacists to inventory kits and in determining their expiry issue in just seconds. With this company, hospital pharmacies can manage item expiry and billing easily for all of the kits in the hospital. The company allows hospitals in being more efficient while increasing the safety of the patient.

 The company raised $15M in Series C on June 20, 2016 from Sands Capital Ventures, Easton Capital, LionBird, New Leaf Venture Partners, Kaiser Permanente Ventures, Rex Health Ventures, Baxter Ventures and  Black Granite Capital.

What is next for Kit Check?

The company is very proud of its huge customer base and that 9 out of 10 hospitals which automate pharmacy kit restocking choose the company. The company is looking forward for further expanding its market leadership and extending its solutions for automating new hospital processes. The company has achieved huge growth since 2013 when the company was just working with 7 hospitals. The company currently serves more than two hundred and fifty hospitals with 15,000 users. The overall number of hospital meds tracked using the company raised from about four hundred thousand in 2013 to more than 13 M by this June and users are increasing a million more every month.
