Metabiota raised $30 M in Series A funding from SharesPost Investment Management, James Joaquin, Undercurrent,Steven Luczo, HVF and Data Collective and other angel investors.

$2.8M in Seed funding March 20, 2014 from RSTP, Tao Capital Partners, HVF, Adrian Aoun, Tim O’Reilly and James Joaquin.

What is next for Metabiota?

Metabiota  has raised a total of $32.8M to date. The company plans to use the latest funding to help build its offerings to insurers and government organizations on a global scale. The company considers this round of funding more of a growth round. The funds will used for scaling its business and continue building into more areas all over the world. The funds will also be used to hire engineers and working with the insurers and reinsurers for providing financial tools to government for the epidemic outbreaks.
