MODE has raised $775K in Seed round on May 11th, 2015 from Metaphorphic Ventrues and Kleiner Perking Caufield Byers, and other angel investors from Silicon Valley.

MODE was founded in 2014 by Ethan Kan and Gaku Ueda. It has its headquarters in San Mateo, California. Mode is a cloud platform which take care of connecting mobile apps with hardware devices in real time, which is the most essential function of Internet of Things system. IoT developers use this Mode as the backend infrastructure over the entire development cycle, starting from prototyping to product launch.
