What does Numecent do?

Numecent, is a stealth startup building a patented “cloudpaging” technology which transmits pre-virtualized native software instructions in a transient manner. The company is a fast growing software and cloud services company. It is a pioneer and tech leader in rapid, secure and friction free provisioner of native apps from cloud through virtual client side containers and without streaming any pixels to the desktop of the client. The company was named a Gartner “Cool Vendor 2013” in recognition of its cloudpaging platform. In a recent survey it was ranked 11^th in Cloud Thought Leadership along with the industry giants.

Numecent raised $15.5M in Series C on November 17, 2015 from Deutsche Telekom.

What is next for Numecent?

Numecent has led the Series A funding and participated with an additional $4.5M of new investment. The remainder of the funding was raised mainly from family offices, European industrialist and private equity firms. This brings the total funding $31.1M to date. With the major new funding, the company will not only be able to continue its disruptive growth on Windows but will also use it for accelerating the development of cloudpaging for other form factors and OSs such as Linuk and Android.
