Pamlico BioPharma, is a bio-pharmaceutical company which is in research stage. Its lead program focuses on severe pneumonia which is caused by Streptococcus pneumonia and it is still in its preclinical IND- directed activities for a mAb cocktail and a companion point of care diagnostic against 3 serotypes which account for more than 40% of the SPN infections. The PneumomAb is a mix of serotype specific human monoclonal antibodies against Streptococcus pneumonia.
Pamlico BioPharma will continue pursuing the multiple infectious disease targets using its patent RAPIDmAb platform and address many hard to treat infections and expect to announce further programs in 2015 and 2015.
