What does Recharge do?
Recharge, is an app for booking hotel rooms by hour or minute. With this app you can instantly book a luxury hotel room and pay only for the time you are going to stay. With this app you do not have to do advance booking or inform your hotel of the length of your stay. Participating hotels have rooms ready the minute of booking. The services of this app is currently available only in San Francisco. With this app, you can pay $40 an hour or $0.66 per minute to get a private room and change it into your home away from your home. You can use it to take a nap, shower after a run, shoot some emails from the quite of your room which you cannot have at a public place like starbucks. users will have a bed, complete privacy to do anything. As it is expensive to get a home like atmosphere when you are travelling and are away from home, this app will help you get all what you need. This app is currently available for iPhone users.

Recharge was found in May 2015 by Christopher Lo, Emmanuel Bamfo and Will Johnson. It has its headquarters in San Francisco, California. To book a room the user has to open the app and it will show a map view and user can find the partnering hotels near the user’s current location. The app will automatically select the nearest available hotel. When the user clicks on the booking tab, he/she will be given 15 minutes to arrive at the hotel the app has matched and has to check in.
