What does SeatGeek do?

SeatGeek, is a ticket search engine which enables the users to find and buy tickets for concerts, sports and theatre events. This ticket search engine aggregates ticket listings and presents them to the consumers with a powerful and elegant user interface which enables the users to find best value on events tickets easily and painlessly.

SeatGeek is geared towards helping consumers find the best ticket deals. The site has a feature called Deal Score which assigns a 0-100 metric to all tickets which are listed so the relative value of the tickets are ascertained for a particular event or a set of similar events.

 

How much SeatGeek was funded?

SeatGeek raised $62 M in Series C funding from the investors Jose Marin, Causeway Media Partners, Fabrice Grinda, Mousse Partners, Accel Partners and Technology Crossover Ventures on April 2nd.

What is next for Seat Geek?

The latest funding will help the ticket search engine take on its competitors in the mobile space. Its priority now is to focus on marketing and hiring more engineers to work on its mobile experience. Most of the fund will be used for its marketing and to increase its team to 110 employees by end of this year.
