What does Talkdesk do?

Talkdesk, is an easy to use, cloud based call center software solution which helps in improving customer interactions while lowering the costs. Unlike other call center solutions Talkdesk needs no hardware, phones, downloads or coding- all that is required is a computer and an internet connection. It integrates with CRM applications such as Zendesk, Shopify, Salesforce, Olark, Infusionsoft and other CRM systems for enriching the real time customer info provided to agents so they can improve their consumer interactions.  Finally with real time and  historical reporting, call recording and call monitoring, managers and agents can make data  driven decisions based on the comprehensive info to help optimize the consumer experience.

How much Talkdesk was funded?

Talkdesk raised  $15M in Series A round on June 9, 2015 from the investors Draper Fisher Jurvetson (DFJ) and Storm Ventures

What is next for Talkdesk?

The company plans to use the funding for expanding its product, engineering and design teams, while growing its marketing and customer support capabilities globally. As a part of the funding Josh Stein, Partner at DFJ, is to join the Board of Directors of Talkdesk. With over 70 employees, Talkdesk has recently moved its headquarters to 14k square foot office in San Francisco, CA and has expanded its offices in Portugal, Lisbon and Portland.
