What does Zerto do?

Zerto, is a company which provides enterprise class business continuity and disaster recovery solutions for virtualized data centers and cloud environments. In case of a disaster, recovering a company’s terabytes of data and the business processes it relies on is something which is rarely thought about, but something that the information technology department deals with everyday. Currently enterprises of every size are deploying apps on virtualized IT infrastructure and clouds. This company is storage agnostic, can be installed easily, intuitive to use and is suited for the cloud and the data centres.

Zerto raised $50M in Series E on January 13, 2016 from Mark Leslie, RTP Ventures, U.S. Venture Partners (USVP), 83North, ClalTech, IVP, Battery Ventures and Harmony Partners.

What is next for Zerto?

Zerto plans to use the funding for supporting its continued product development for increasing the flexibility of software defined, hybrid cloud infrastructures for the easy adoption and use by business leaders in different industries. The funding will also help the company in continuing the momentum, it has built with 2,200 customers spanning financial services, insurance, healthcare, education and legal and a network of 900 sellers and 250 cloud service providers.
