eVisit, is a physician first telehealth software company. it is a telemedicine patient engagement platform for SMB healthcare practices. This web application connects primary care providers with their patients through phone or webcam for the remote diagnosis and treatment of most medical conditions such as flu, cold, allergies etc. This platform is changing the model of healthcare delivery and disrupting the primary care market of $135 Billion by enabling physicians to recapture patient visits from the Emergency room and Urgent care. Doctors reclaim the lost revenue from the missed appointments, and patients get high quality care from home, work or on the road from the doctor that they usually visit and know the best.

eVisit was founded in 2013 by  Glen McCracken and Bret Larsen. It has its headquarters in Gilbert, AZ.  This is a health care startup which offers a telehealth solution that enables healthcare providers to treat their patients through a secure, online video chat platform. This platform allows providers to collect patient co-plays, prescribe medicine electronically to the pharmacy of the patient’s choice and submit medical charts for reimbursement to 3^rd party payers. Unlike other telehealth companies, this one circumvents many regulatory issues by maintaining a good doctor patient relationship and keeping the patients in their Patient Centered Medical Home- PCMH.
