Challenges Faced By Mobile Designers

Mobile phone users are increasing day by day and now it has become imperative to design and develop websites which fit the mobile screens. Apart from developing some cool and useful mobile apps, mobile app development also faces some challenges and constraints in the process which needs to be addressed earnestly and as quickly as possible.

Mobile market is an entirely different world. Nobody would have ever expected that this will bring such a strong revolution in the tech world. It is such a rapidly developing platform coupled with advanced technology that it comes with new propositions every other day and it makes the consumers yearn for it more. 1. Different designs for Different Screens- New model of a smart phone comes into the market every other day, with different pixel density, resolution, screen size and other abilities. Therefore, it is not right to design the web for a particular screen and believe that it will fit all the screen designs. In order to overcome the trouble of different screens with different sizes it is recommended to develop a design which fits well all the screen sizes.
2. Individual design for each OS- In the present mobile market, there are primarily 3 operating systems, Android, iOS and Windows phones. Each of these mobile platforms have their own interface patterns, guidelines and external inputs. As every device has its own processing capabilities, the designers must create designs which match the individual user interface which makes it conducive for the users.
3. Battery Intake- It is of utmost importance to evaluate app design on the basis of its performance. This depends on the amount of power the app uses. If the app drains out the battery once used, then app designers must shift the concentration towards this issue. Make sure the app does not have issues to work on old phones and run smoothly on even the latest smart phones too. This will drift half of the users.
4. Issues with over budget- Just because you find an app interesting and cool, it does not mean that is easy to implement. Meeting the thresholds and app essentials takes a lot more than just thinking. It is very important to plan, estimate the costs and make app design decisions which need to be framed precisely to get the app implemented practically well.

These are few challenges that app designers face during mobile app development, but it is not all doom and gloom. There are many platforms, vendors and tools which will help you resolve these issues and make mobile app designing and development a productive and profitable process irrespective of the mobile platform chosen. But good research and diligence on different platforms before starting the process is necessary.
