What is next for Melinta Therapeutics?

Melinta Therapeutics plans to use the funding for completing the final Phase III study of delafloxacin, an investigational fluoroquinolone, which is currently undergoing a confirmatory Phase III study for treating patients with skin structure infections and acute bacterial skin infections. Funds will also be used for supporting the potential submission of a New Drug Application fordelafloxacin, pursuing new indications for delafloxacin including the hospital treated community acquired bacterial pneumonia.
